Measuring Me Take 2 — Eating Habits

Recently, I haven’t been eating enough, basically out of laziness. I know it makes me feel bad the next day but somehow I haven’t been able to tackle it. It’s the first time I’ve been responsible for feeding myself without a dining hall. I like cooking, but before now I only cooked when I wanted to, instead of needing to cook every day.

Friday:
wakeup at 11am, ate huge bowl of yogurt at 12:30pm

Ate 2 roasted chicken thighs at 5pm

Ate a bunch of chinese food @ 9pm

Reflect — All in all, did a decent job today. Tracking it definitely helped, I probably wouldn’t have eaten the chicken at 5pm otherwise.

Monday:
wakeup at 11:30am, huge bowl of yogurt at 12pm

At around 8pm I ate 8 tacos. They were excellent.

Reflect — I should have eaten more earlier between the two meals. I set an alarm because I knew I was tracking today but it went off while I was walking and not in a place to get food.

I eat the yogurt breakfast every morning because it’s easy; I don’t have to think about it. I think I need to set something like that up for lunch too. Hindsight has led me to place a clif bar in each of my big jackets and on my desk. I want to make something better to eat for lunch, but making the clif bars easily accessible is much better than nothing.
